SUMMARY:Terry Fox Run & Toonies for Terry
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to share that our school will be taking part in a Terry Fox Run on Thursday\, September 24.\n\nAs part of our school-wide event\, students will have the opportunity to participate in a Terry Fox Run around the school field from 2:30–3:05 p.m. Students will run\, walk\, or move around the field together as we remember Terry Fox and the incredible legacy he left behind.\n\nAs part of our event\, we will be collecting Toonies for Terry from students and families who wish to contribute. All donations collected will be sent to the Terry Fox Foundation to support cancer research and the ongoing effort to find better treatments and\, ultimately\, a cure for cancer.\nDonations are entirely optional. Every contribution\, large or small\, helps us demonstrate the importance of compassion\, community\, hope\, and perseverance.
