High School Completion Week
Completion Week is a tradition for High School students at KCA that happens at the end of each semester. For the first semester this takes place during the week of January 25 to 30th.
During Completion Week, students will write any term‑ending exams and participate in final projects and presentations. Students are only required to attend for these scheduled exams and end of semester activities. Teachers will communicate directly with students regarding the specific days and times they are expected to attend. Please refer to the document LINKED HERE for information about the schedule for each student’s required attendance.
No formal classes are scheduled during this time and students are not required to attend when they are not scheduled. Throughout the week, students have the opportunity to complete any missed assignments, retake exams (as permitted) and study for upcoming assessments. Even though not mandatory, students are welcome to be present for the day or parts of the day. If they are at school they will be required to be in the room that they would normally be scheduled in for supervision purposes.
Completion week also provides our high school teachers with dedicated time to plan for next semester and to complete the marking and assessments needed to ensure Semester One report cards are ready to go home on February 6, 2026.
